A friend took me to Shaghf cafe in the Sterling Heights location and the coffee is QUALITY. You can tell that this is a place that specializes in coffee because of the machines they use, and the care they put into each drink. I loved the coffee so much that I went to the other location in Canton the next day. Service was excellent, we had lots of questions about the different drinks and the barista was so patient with us. Sterling Heights gets extra points for using the cans and pouches which added a nice touch to the drinks! The ambiance was 10/10, both the canton and Sterling Heights locations were unique and gorgeous and I would come back again and again!!

Very cute and minimalist space. The seating here might be difficult for large groups as the space isn't as large as some of the other shops in the area. The Spanish latte and Frappuccino are my fav items on the menu. Service is also quick and there's rarely a wait to get my order.

Really solid local coffee shop. Located at the end of the plaza behind Bangkok Cuisine. They have a blended Pistachio Latte (no caffeine) that knocks it out of the park. I also tried their Corn Flakes iced coffee that was the perfect balance with the un-caffeinated Pistachio drink. It's a bit on the expensive end but nice for a treat on the weekends or once in a while. The service was quick and friendly and the shop had a family feel to it. Really clean and nicely decorated.

Very cute Middle Eastern cafe! The interior decor is beautiful and modern. I tried the habibi latte, which was tasty and quite sweet. They serve cold drinks in plastic soda cans which was fun. The drinks are pretty expensive for how small they are.

This was the most beautiful coffee shop I have been in! I enjoyed the Hot Spanish latte and regular latte and the cups/saucers that they were serve in were stunning. The service was also wonderful and they were so nice. The only thing is the popular drinks (like the pistachio frap) and desserts were a little too sweet. The date tart was excellent and could have done even without the extra drizzle of caramel sauce on top! There is also wifi so you can come work here but it is lovely for a little friend catch up.

We checked out this newly opened location of Shaghf Cafe on our way to the airport. Unfortunately we aren't from the area so we may or may not be back, however if I did live nearby I would definitely visit often! The young man helping us was so nice.. he patiently explained the ingredients in different drinks, and also gave our little daughter a chocolate (she was fussy because we got coffee and she can't... can you blame her?! Lol) There were so many types of drinks to choose from and they all sounded yummy! The best part is they come in the cutest drink ware.. with a tab top opening similar to a can of soda... My husband and I both opted for the same drink, most fittingly, the habibi latte... because who can say no to habibi?! The habibi latte consisted of vanilla and hazelnut flavors. It was mild, way too easy to drink, and was the perfect pick me up to start our travels home. The desserts looked so yummy but we had just picked up a tray of baklawa that I already set my mind to devour, otherwise the brownie was yelling my name The outside of the cafe is simple and clean... I wish they did use a white stroke around their sign instead of black because the building is brown and it doesn't stand out well... the inside is super smooth... with colors of emerald greens and gold, it had a fun yet efficient vibe. The layout is a streamlined rectangle making your visit and ordering convenient and easy. I especially loved the monkeys on the wall The young man who helped us mentioned they might open a SD location soon so we will definitely support if we see it pop up, or next time we're in michigan. Cheers! *will update this with a photo of our drinks once I get it off my husbands phone

Ambiance. Clean, modern-chic. Lots of marble, gold, black, green, and velvet. Music was pop-non-musi-annoying (aka push button, overproduced crap) at a reasonable volume. Very comfy chair and banquette seating along wall with bistro tables. There were a few tables outside too. The diffuser oil on top of the trash receptacle was smart; smelled nice as you walk in the place. Service. Attentive, knowledgeable, nice on the eyes too. I did not get my Salted Caramel drink; the barista only thought I wanted one. Miscommunication. So, this is why order screens for guests to see their order would be helpful. Otherwise, they should have repeated my order to ensure everything is included. Staff were busy, not always looking at their phones. Food. ALL DELICIOUS. How fun to try something different, especially if this chain started in Dubai. I appreciated they warmed up my Cinnamon Balls, drizzled with chocolate. And the Shaghf Tart was excellent, made of dates, but tasted more caramel-like. Coffee drinks were excellent. Not too sweet, but in 10 oz servings which were perfect portion sizes. Overall, good. Would come back.

This is a new place that opened up in Sterling Heights. The inside decor is really nice and a great place to study or socialize. The staff are really nice and helped us navigate the menu. The corn flakes latte was interesting and good. We made the mistake of having it in the soda can, because the flakes got stuck and got really soggy afterwards. It would've been better to have it in a cup. The lotus frappe was really good if you love sweet! The flavor is really good. The charcoal latte was a bit of a novelty. I was expecting something a little different but the charcoal didn't add much flavor or anything just a unique coloring of the latte. It looks like there's Oreos in it. Overall, a great place and location. The drinks are a bit on the pricey end.
